June 12th, 2012 · No Comments · edinburgh

Here at Edinburgh Festival Apartments we have a whole range of visitors who are booking our Edinburgh Apartments accomodation now for the annual foodie event Taste of Edinburgh, this taking place at The Meadows park so everyone hoping again for a nice sunny day. Each year I have gone I have been really lucky with the weather, so fingers crossed for some sunshine. We have guests staying in our Edinburgh Apartments George IV Residence who are working at the venue.

This year The Fabulous Baker Brothers stars brothers Tom, a baker, and Henry, a chef who runs the local butcher’s shop next door are appearing as celebrity chefs. With five generations of baking tradition behind them, Tom and Henry take viewers into the heat of the artisan kitchen and unlock the trade secrets of baking, which have been honed through years of practice and passion.

We have a wide range of central Edinburgh apartments close to the Meadows venue, many within walking distance.

I have really enjoyed the series it is packed with hearty recipes and interesting twists as each episode the boys roll up their sleeves and take viewers through their delicious recipes. But it’s not just about bread and pastry, as each dish has hearty fillings, tempting toppings and tasty accompaniments that bring in stacks of delicious flavours.
