Edinburgh Festival Apartments First Day of Christmas

December 4th, 2012 · No Comments · edinburgh

Here at Edinburgh Festival Apartments we are always looking for some topical blog subjects so over the next couple of weeks leading up to Christmas I thought I would write a blog entry for 12 of our very best Edinburgh Apartments based on the song The Twelve Days of Christmas.

On the first day of Christmas my True Love said to me “Lets go to Edinburgh for a romantic weekend”

I have booked us a Romantic weekend away this month to go Christmas shopping in Edinburgh. We will be staying at a fabulous city centre Edinburgh apartment 17  in the heart of Edinburgh’s old town. It’s an impressive modern central Edinburgh apartment and part of a newly award winning development of contemporary stylish and comfortable apartments. This contemporary building is constructed to blend in with surrounding historic buildings. It is centrally located on the historic Royal Mile Edinburgh High street, minutes from the spectacular Edinburgh castle.

The Edinburgh Apartment is surrounded by a fantastic selection of cosmopolitan cafes, shops and restaurants there is no shortage of evening entertainment. The Edinburgh apartment is close to all Edinburgh attractions including the famous Edinburgh Ghost Tours, Mary Kings Close visitor attractions, the Edinburgh Dungeon, Princes Street, Museum of Scotland, Holyrood Palace and the new Scottish Parliament building.
The Edinburgh Apartment sleeps 4 people and comprises of 2 double bedrooms, one bedroom with a double bed and the other has two single beds so it will be ideal for us for the weekend and our friends who live in Edinburgh can come along and visit for a night out and stay over in the bedroom we wont be using.

I have booked us a meal at  Montieths an award winning Scottish restuarant and thought afterwards head to Whiski Bar to hear some live acoustic music.

On Saturday I thought we could go shopping and have afternoon tea at Harvey Nichols then later on head out to the Jazz Bar on Chamber Street where there is live music and we can wander home.
