Apartments in Edinburgh perfect launch pad for Edinburgh Festival Experience

Dont mind the rain – nobody else does. What a fantastic month in the city of Edinburgh – the Edinburgh International Festival is in full swing – the streets are awash with coloured banners – show touts recommending their friends relentlessly shower the passersby with handout fliers. The atmosphere is electirc – spontanoeus street corner shows combined with open top buses with performers offering samples of their shows from the top deck keep the momentum going. The crowds flow steadily from venue to venue occasionally deflected off their flight path by persuasive show touts or distracting street performances. The Grassmarket has become a more usable space since its redevelopement earlier in the year – the street performing unicyclists, fire eaters and jugglers alike have found the pedestrianised area down there quite accommodating. The news on the apartment front is the knock on effect the traditionally busy period has had on our service staff – it appears that all of the edinburgh holiday apartment renters are spending less and less time inside the edinburgh apartments.Good news for the cleaners as changing the beds is all they have to do somtimes – change the bin and a spot of hoovering. This speaks volumes for the quality of the attractions and shows as early morning up and out is the order of the day – the 5am licensing in the nightclubs also goes a long way to discourage sleeping so the festival really does offer a 24 hour experience and certainly durring the month of august edinburgh does a good impression of a city that never sleeps. The Scottish climate was never an attraction for holiday makers but at least this in itself avoids disappointment as it is generally accepted that if it rains – is cold and windy then it is not a surprise – in fact it is expected. So go on you festival revelers – enjoy the creature comforts of our Edinburgh Holiday apartments – at least for a full half hour a day as you laugh joke and swagger drunk or not from fabulous show to fabulous show – Edinburgh is the best place to party and the Edinburgh Festival is the biggest arts festival in the world so enjoy the worlds biggest party and the rain.
