As the end of the Olympic Games approaches, the festival time is
drawing to a close. Many exciting events are to take place in
Edinburgh within the following week.
Probably the two most important are the Olympic parade for Scottish

fireworks concert ending the Edinburgh International Festival, which
will take place in the city centre (Princes street gardens) on Sunday,
31 August starting at 9pm.
