Gorgeous Victorian era double upper apartment, fully modernised and centrally heated, but retaining lovely period features, such as original open fireplaces, cornices and the nooks and crannies that give an older home character! This flat is beautifully furnished with quality furniture and fittings, and excellently equipped and offers an excellent HOME FROM HOME to our guests - just walk in and make yourselves COMFORTABLE! 

Upper Coltbridge is a lovely GEM hidden away at the end of a quiet cul de sac next to the Water of Leith, and boasts a prestigious address in Murrayfield proper. It is an ideal location to stay for discerning guests looking for a flat that is conveniently close to town (5 minutes' ride or 15 minutes' walk right into the heart of the City), but who are also desirous of a safe and peaceful location to enjoy a good night's sleep away from the noise and crowds!

For rugby fans or those attending concerts at Murrayfield Stadium, the Stadium is only 7 minutes' walk from the front door!

Since we decided to offer our flat for a holiday home, we have had nothing but compliments from all our guests. Everyone who comes comment on the excellent quality of the flat and fittings, and how convenient it is for local attractions and those out of town.  The flat is a beautiful home, and we have endeavoured to make it a home from home for all our guests, who will arrive to find, just like at home, a welcome pack of FREE goodies to start off your stay!

There are 4 bedrooms in the flat, all of which are beautifully furnished with solid wood furniture, new and comfy beds and snuggly duvets for that all essential good night's sleep! There is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a kingsize bed room and a single room. We also provide a blow up single bed, and a cot. The flat sleeps a maximum of 8 people, including children and babies.

There are two reception rooms in the flat. The dining room is a large and airy room with comfy faux leather chairs placed around a large solid wood table seating up to 8 people. A beautiful original fireplace is located in this room. The living room is also large and airy and like all the other rooms in the apartment, enjoys open views. There is a large screen 32" LCD TV with Freeview and DVD player in this room. Large, deep and comfortable faux leather sofas and chairs are provided for guests who want to enjoy a restful time in the lounge.

The kitchen is a work of art, with solid wood units, granite worktops and Amtico floorings. There is a window seat in the large bay window for you to take a breather from cooking with a cuppa or glass of wine! The kitchen is fully equipped for enthusiastic cooks, from the roasting tin to the 8 egg cups! The usual mod cons expected in a modern kitchen are there: a large standing fridge freezer, microwave, electric oven and hood, 4-ring gas hob, toaster, electric kettle, etc. Other essential household items include the dishwasher, washer dryer, vacuum cleaner, even a clothes overheaddrying rack etc.

The bathroom has a Heritage bath and shower along with the usual sink and toilet and storage unit. There is a quality granite worktop and Karndean flooring. The bathroom is located on the second floor of the flat.

Outside the flat is a garden bench for you to enjoy those balmy days! There is FREE PARKING on the street outside.

The flat is SUITABLE FOR NON-SMOKERS ONLY. We are sure that you will enjoy the flat, and we ask that all guests respect and look after the flat so that other new arriving guests will be able to enjoy it too! Due to the neighbourhood location, we are unable to accept groups which intend to hold loud or rowdy parties as these would disturb our neighbours. .
