This is a cosy, traditional, end terraced stone cottage on the edge of the small village of Forth, in rural South Lanarkshire. It is 25 miles (one hour's drive) from Edinburgh. It has been upgraded to a very high standard, while retaining its original charm and character. There is a newly fitted country kitchen with all appliances and a high chair can be provided. The lounge is cosy and welcoming, with an electric flame effect cast iron stove, seating for four and room to dine. There is a TV with Freeview, a DVD player with a selection of DVD’s, a CD player, free broadband and a telephone for evening and weekend calls. There is a double bedroom with an additional TV and a single bedroom. A cot can be provided. The modern bathroom has a bath and a shower (over the bath. ) The garden area is pebbled and is a good sun trap. There is private parking at the rear of the cottage. All linen and towels are provided. The heating is all electic and electricity is included in the price. Well behaved pets are welcome. Forth is in a very central location; therefore all areas of Scotland are within easy reach by motorway, bus or train. Livingston, with its discounted designer outlet shopping mall, is 8 miles away and the delightful market town of Lanark is 9 miles. The historic and vibrant cities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling are all within easy reach. .
