This beautiful, spacious apartment in a traditional Victorian building, has been sensitively modernised to offer excellent , high-quality holiday accommodation with excellent bus services to all areas just 2 minutes walk away, Royal Mile a 10 minute walk away, and Princes Street a similar distance. But the street itself is a quiet, leafy one, separated from the main thoroughfare by parkland with mature trees and screened from intrusive traffic noise. The airport express coach terminates at Waverley railway station, just a 5 minute bus or taxi-ride away.

Complimentary car- parking can often be provided,too - but please check availability before confirming booking. Wi-fi available at very modest additional cost - please request in advance. Prices from £300 per week. Please note that nightly prices quoted on booking calendar are based on the minimum stay of 3 or 4 nights : click on 'get price from landlord' and we shall respond immediately to any request for prices for stays of 4 nights or more. Typical prices outwith July/ August : 4 nights £220, 5 nights £250, 6 nights £275 , 7 nights £320. Further discounts sometimes available, and 2-night bookings are occasionally accepted.

The Accommodation comprises:A light, airy sitting-room with large bay windows , sanded wooden floor and original features such as Victorian cornice & fireplace; a sunny, spacious well-equipped kitchen/dining room with newly sanded floor ; attractive bedroom with double bed ,ample storage, and new beige wool carpeting ; beautiful newly-installed Italian-tiled bathroom with high-performance shower and modern white bathroom suite . There is also a small study with folding guest-bed, adjacent to the sitting-room, which can be used to accommodate a 3rd person. The flat is equipped with gas central heating, full double-glazing, fridge with roomy freezer compartment, new Bosch washing-machine, iron and board, radio, CD player, flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD with enhanced picture quality, stereo CD-player, hair-dryer, and microwave oven ( in addition to conventional gas hob and electric oven) . Bed-linen and towels are supplied, and beds are made up for visitors in advance of arrival. Wi-fi access can also be provided for a very modest additional charge. .
